My first piece made of my own volition. Please share your opinions, much appreciated.
Perspective shift

Lauding my kite for lifting my eyes past the skies
longing for the string to pop

so my angel may beam down a warmth that makes pluto feel like the sun

have you ever felt that you were frozen in a slipstream, immoblized acceleration, stagnation of choice detered by indifference

how there are all those you care for 'cept for yourself

apathy filters your choices with non-chaloir as your armure

Everyone loves a puppy, that's your ticket, happy-go-lucky

They all say your cute and nice so hide that heart of ice

Ohh but the muse, she cools my acidic gaze from a bullseye lantern I only lay on my reflection

She cracks my ice and adds her spice

The pups grown up

His tail wags and his eyes gleam....a little brighter, thanks to her starfire

No longer will he come when they command no more will he soothe their scarred and theiving hands

Still he play games, still quick to protect the shamblers and cardplayers

He plays a little smarter, he walks a little taller

Though emotions still fly, floating without hindrance

this glider where before exuding brash luminescence

now performs for a private audience
