A quick poem.
Brave new morning
Wrap myself in you.
Awaken to a world
That I thought I’d never see.

Light shining down
Into the dark cleft of my world.
Reach down your hand,
And pull me up -
Into your heart.

A smile that brings calm
To my storms.
Eyes that are a window
To her flawless nature.

I want to be something more
Than mud in your eye.
I want to be
The clay in your hands.
