Black and Gold Dreamers

Black and Gold dreamers
deny the sunshine
As if the are poisoned by the sun

Unbind the innocent

Good intention eats the innocent poet
in the light
And then devours itself

Shelter the innocent from the pouncing cannibal

Nothing dances about
in the wet hot pool
Where the golden sun is gone

God stop the teeth of the swooping crow

Brazen eyes shine down
on the open earth
When warm cement goes cold

Rescue their good bodies from the dreamers

Their groins ache for the changes
in their bodies
As twilight is pressed against them

Blind the gigantic cloud of the cannibal

They are swimming in a dark pool
that blinds their good intention
Neither god of twilight

Shine light on the innocent

They look about themselves
for they saw a noisy mouse
Against the shelter of their sun

Then they stop
Put on a coat
And shelter their private bodies from the innocent
