This poem is about broadening one's idea of what God is
In the midst of knowledge
I want ignorance
In the opening of my eyes
I want them shut tight
see all this knowing
is a scary thing
Yet, See, is what finally I am doing

Becoming exposed to the wise words of
Socrates and Jesus
I think to myself,
"My what remarkable men."
Yet with one, more is at stake
The skeptic in me wonders,
"Did one really take my sins?"

I am craving to think outside the steeples
I know the Logos is bigger than they
In my search of It
I see that only a fraction of Him can be found
in creeds
Yes, Yes there He is
with those who are in need

For since the start of time
I pray that with everyone He was walking
hand in hand
Regardless if they or their ancestry
were from the supposed
Holy Land.
