I wrote this while viewing a lunar eclipse. It explains my connection with nature.
Waiting
She patiently waits
Hopeful she is
That the clouds really do
eventually clear
And she is reunited with her inspiration

Waiting
She patiently waits
Is it teasing her,
Perhaps aware of her blind faith?
Or is it too trying to find her
through the thick layer of haze

Waiting
She patiently waits
Aha! It has arrived!
So joyous she is relishing in its beauty
Only to have it slip again
into the darkness of night

Waiting
She patiently waits
Until her death her loyalty will remain
For even in its taunting nature
It calms her fears
and clears her perspective

Waiting
She patiently waits
for the beauty so many overlook
Its white and shining armor very few appreciate
Until their next encounter its inspiration
will hold her through

And so her waiting will remain...
Patient.
