revised from roads tried more thoughts on a long planned project
Walking across
another day
just behind
are all the broken
clouds opening away
He steps
Over shallow puddles
And he listens
to the waves singing
silently rolling under his feet
while feeling the sun resting
atop his frail shoulders

Wandering along
he considers the warmth
behind his eyes.
drifting along
breathing in
the luminous air
pausing and stalling
each luscious step
just wanting
to reach the horizon.

Closing his eyes
he strolls beside
the bright yellow line
leading him though
the obscure roads
slithering into and
out of a pattern

Wandering within
the chaotic void
drifting within himself
steering clear of the birds
traveling away and
escaping the restraints.

Where is he
wandering?
Why is he here
wandering?
He looks straight
continues on his way
as he searches
for another road
