This prose is about someone sitting, daydreaming, in front of a fireplace on a winter day!
*Snow2**Snow1*My Wonderland*Snow1**Snow2*

*Snow3**Snow3*Wrapped in a blanket I sit by the fire, drinking a cup of hot cocoa. It’s cold outside; winter is what everyone calls it. As the snow falls to the ground, I shiver. As the Christmas music plays in the background.

I sit in my own wonderland; where the trees still are in blossom and the flowers are still in bloom. The air is still warm and I’m sitting in the shade of a maple tree reading a book. My dog at my side, I smile, for I know she wants to play. I put my book down, and she jumps up and grabs her slime covered ball. I throw it once; it falls to the ground with a thud and she runs and grabs it and brings it back to me. I throw it once more she runs out across the green grass so far and she catches it in her mouth! She brings it back, tired this time, and lays the ball beside my chair, then lays down herself. I also sit, in my chair, and pick up my book once again.

A door slams I realize I am no longer in my wonderland but sitting in front of the fire in my blanket with my hot cocoa in my hands and Christmas music playing in the background.*Snow3**Snow3*
