a poem about confusing lust and love
Unrequited Love

Tongues twisting , tasting life ,tasting lust
Blinded by the crashing of waves;
Torrents of fire burning away diamond like logic
Leaving only freedom in its wake

Tongues twisting , tasting life ,tasting hope
Hope of love , hope of chances now known tragic
Blinded by tears so cold they seep into souls
Banking all passion leaving lust cold.

Tongues twisting ,tasting pain,tasting desperation
Trying to rekindle a fire, eons now past
Blinded by the drug of love that couldnt last
A love that was yours,a love that lay lonely
Dying by itself,leaving ground slowly.
