If your voice is calling... I will come
Watching the candle light
Flickering in the darkest hours,
As stars are blown away
By ominous cloud.

Life as a prisoner,
Inside a cell of black light.
Dark is all consuming,
as angels fall.

Mornings seem distant.
Sunrise still so pale and weak.
Even as it hits blue sky,
It's light is grey.

Yet as a day is dawning,
As the sky is falling.
If your voice is calling.
I will come.

It's cold - and grey.
It's pain - I pay.
For all I've done.

It's fear - and trust.
It's what I must
Try to see.

I search for colour.
That one I fear is gone.
Hope in it's exquisite light.
Lost in what is done.

Standing still in time,
Freedom a hopeless dream.
Listen to the grey wind howl.
It's tragic song to sing

Even if the lies are twisting,
If your tears are glistening,
Remember I'm always listening.
I will come.

t's cold - and grey.
It's pain - I pay.
For all I've done.

It's fear - and trust.
It's what I must
Try to see.
