Another metaphoric poem where I compare people & dreams to places.
Do you see that?
Close your eyes
And visualize
The land that lies
Off in the distance

First see the trees
The lush forests of green
The grandfathers they stay
In which they grow
Yet slowly die

Remember the river
Who winds a path
Through, too the ends of the earth
Carrying the sorrow
Too the edge of reality

Speak of the mountains
Whom majestically roam
The borders to the east
Whose deserted hills lie
Looming to stand tall.

Listen to the meadows
The quiet whisper they hum
As the wind sweeps
across their soul

Think of the desserts
That outlines the West
The rugged zone of death
Shouting the cries of the fallen
In their desolate skies

Hear the rain
Which dances onto the soil
They wail of nostalgia
They stress the thought of slumber

And finally, the stars
How they twinkle openly
Above the sleeping land
That they shine no matter who sees
They are always above
Shimmering hope onto everyone

Maybe there is something, too
That we may learn
From that land…
