Poem written on a very dark, lonely day.
Lost

Lost in the darkness I have created.
Memories gone way past by me.
I find myself in a place where there are no hopes,
And dreams are inexistent.

A silent place where I can't hear my own thoughts.
It's that horrible place I feared for so long.
A place called loneliness;
Hundreds of people around me and no one seems to notice.
Thousands of people surround me and the feeling remains the same.

No one to love, no one who cares, no one who I can call my very own.
It has been said there's always a light at the end of the tunnel,
But in this place, all evidence of light is gone,
All signs of life have vanished.
It has been said always listen to your heart, but in this sad, lonely place,
I can't hear my own thoughts, my heart seems to have stopped beating.
It lost it's rhythm, I find again, no sign of life.

I gaze around and all I see is the darkest of clouds ever seen my man.
I miss my blue skies, I miss my clear nights.
My gorgeous heart has been smashed into pieces.
My thoughtful mind has been covered by clouds.
All sense of hope is gone.
All sense of love has diminished, my tears have touched the ground once again.
Desire my own death as if it was a choice, for I have lost what I've always cherished.
I've lost the blue in my skies, I've lost the wings in my flight.
