I have been really frustraterd with the mindless qualities of television.
Sit down, you’re tired,

And watch some good ol’ TV

ABC, NBC, CBS, MTV

Thousands of choices!

There’s something for everyone

Watch a murderer fry

Or learn about hair dye

You can order anything you want off your TV

Food, clothes, jewelry, friendship

Sit, rest a while, calm your mind

Something’s always on

Watch with reverence the super- thin, super- human superstars

Strut their way across the screen

In the center of the entertainment shrine in your home

Watch, assimilate the uniformity

Buy Coke, wear Hollister!

Worry more about whether Brady will find Chloe

Before Shawn wakes from his coma

Than work, family, food

Come on!

There’s always something t numb your brain!

Come worship at the American altar

The television
