Fall From Grace

When it all started it was not meant to end this way,
A distant memory
Faced with pain
A thought of our past a burn that’s so easy to explain
All there was
Lost in the time
but it wasn’t much?
So why do we cry
It was like a wonderful dream
But I knew id wake up
A lacking promise filled way over the top
When I lost when I came to past
I fell and fall forever through the past
So lost in what is real that my mind lacks any truth in what I believe I feel

But its ok
I know that it is
Even if my heart is so soar from my pestering mind
Its all a sacred design
To watch us fall from grace
Maybe to never come back again
When we do that old feeling will linger
Leaving us feel so distant
Distant from the present
Distant from reality
Because theres that other half of me
So untamed so ashamed so fucked up
So deranged to believe to conceive that what was there
What was false was true
Because theres that heart that beats the same beat it beat
For a time
But it’s a distant rhyme lost to the ages
Lost to the war
To the god
To the man whos got one hand
One leg
One eye
One half a mind
To the half of me
That is all that’s left
This is my fall from grace
A cowards escape?
Perhaps but who would know
only the ones who were there for that sacred show
Is it evil is it sad
Or is it something you see everyday hidden from the view of eyes
A great leap that we all take
A dive off the bridge to the fall
That we have chosen
But we feel it has chosen us
What difference does it make
As the clouds follow us
As the ground approaches us for that rock bottom reality
The sharp truth that approaches
That doom that never stops whispering at every corner
At every sign
At ever light that we pass by
Alone at that last moment
this why I cry
This is why I hurt
This is why I feel so damned alert
At every look and every snear
Its all just a need to feel that this eventual place of fate will be witnessed
And shared
Held together from the destruction
A human body so sacred in its presence
So comforting in its commitment
That one begins to accept that this fall is part off it all
But no
It’s the eventual acceptance
That bloody god damn acceptance
That we are alone
So much does it hurt
So much does it scatter our will and desire
That we trip over that other half of us that holds on to that past memory beginning the fall
The fall from grace from you
And all the world
To what end
I say none
No matter what events transpire
Forever a part will fall
