a poem about a heartbreaker...
All, hail the heartbreaker
Who’s done it once again
Taken away the happiness
Of the one who felt loved
All, hail the heartbreaker
Who says
“It’s not you, but it is me.”

Secretly, it is enjoyable to her
Every time she sees them die inside
She feels a little more alive
Letting this power to give and take happiness
Consume her

Some may envy her
For this power that she possesses
And wish…
That they too, could be the heartbreakers
And make them fall in an instant
But, just as quickly, take it all away

But really, she deserves pity
For all that she has done
Was for the mending of her broken heart
That was once, also stolen

A man who had her trust and her heart, from day one
Made a benevolent girl a vengeful woman
As he walked off into the sunset
And out of her life

So all hail the heartbreaker
The actress of the year
Who still hides her pain
While she sheds mental tears
