If I were standing before a crowd.. what could I say?
What can I say?
In a world where it has all been said.
What Can I say?
To a hundred thousand million
blank expressions.
What can I say?
To those who do not listen
who see no future in the past.
What can I say?
When will you hear me?
In a world so impotent of expression
so drawn, bland,
an emptied vessel.
Why would you listen?
When you have your dreams and marvels
at what cost?
At what cost?

What can I say?
When my fists can pound until
the very body sways.
Thrown against the wheels
of the odious machine.
What can I say?
When it emerges,
wrecked and bloody
and there is no funeral.
What can I say?
to lips curled,
upturned faces
watching me recumbent.
"Put him away!"
What can I say?
You wont hear me.
What can I say?
Look away
Look away,
this man is sick,
he shouts
makes you uncomfortable.
What can I say?
from inside this cage.
