Another lover’s day passes and fades,
Leaving my soul in undisturbed yearning,
Ones held in my heart are absent these days,
I bid them gone, will I never stop learning?

Long have I witnessed others joining,
As I hold back from the brink of love,
Possibilities too often disappointing,
Thus I remain the untouched dove.
