Just my feelings about my parents' divorce.
He boxed up his life, and left it in a room.
I passed it sometimes, and felt sad.
He didn't die, but he's gone now.
When people say it's for the best, how would they know?
It's not there lives.
It's not there mess.
When we're alone and we talk, and I cry, and you make excuses, I wish those moments wouldn't happen.
I gather up my memories, and try to think only of the good.
It's hard sometimes, when each day I pass your wedding picture, and stop, and see your happiness.
Was that fake?
One day you came back and offered to listen if I ever wanted to talk.
You sat down and folded your hands.
"I just.. don't want you to forget about me, you know?"
You said that, then we hugged and you left.
I couldn't stop thinking about that.
Wonderng if it was really possible for me to forget about you.
I don't think it is.
Until one day I passed by your wedding picture.
It wasn't there anymore.
And suddenly a lot of things weren't there anymore.
And I understood what you meant when you said that.
......but I won't forget you.
