A dear friend were leaving to another country rather permanently...
FAREWELL
---------

I fancy I am not a person too sentimental,
Parting with its poisonous pangs doesn't smite my sanguine heart.
Our journeys' memories are but choice gemstones of colorful jade and opal
burnished bright in the kaleidoscope of my joys, aloft and apart;

You, my Oracle of a thousand small wisdoms, are but at hand-
As a weary Earth shrinks under bridges of magnetic winds, high and fast,
Hastened by eager horsemen of humble metal and sand,
My blunt words of affection shall surely draw us near as never in the past.

And yet..and yet, as summer rushes in again with its feverish feet
And the placid trundle of time's wagons slows to a harsh halt
At the moment that beckons us to paths that part and never meet
Why does my hand feel heavy as I wave nonchalant,

And my heart listless as I see the lone road ahead.
I fancied I am not a person of sentiment,
But now I pause and wonder at what I said.
Paths do meander and change intermittent,

Dear ones, amazed, do meet, unexpected and often
With old memories to relive and new tales to tell.
And so I hope and wait- Till then,
My dear friend, fare you well!
