A modern sin revealed
It started with a gift -unsolicited, innocent
As I un-wrapped it my heart skipped a beat
Oh No! I thought I had left this part of my life behind…

It sat there and mocked me for a cool week or two
Silently begging me to satiate it
Yeah, I knew it wanted some mild abuse

One lonely night, with wild abandon, I gave in to its needs
I got out the golden oil and offered it up
As it became hotter and hotter
My burning desire grew in proportion

And then into its gaping blackness
Went the frozen slices of pure heaven
Yes, that night and whenever I am alone now

I put the oven fries into the Fry Daddy
and lick my lips in shame…
