What happens in a daydreamers head?
My thoughts are running
My brain is buzzing
With all that I’m learning
It’s always going
Never content to stop.

A book slammed on my desk
My eyes jump from the text
And focus on Teacher
Angry I’m reading my book again.

“In one ear and out the other,” she mutters
And you know? That’s just not true.
I close my ears, simple as that.

It can’t go out
If it never went in.

Can’t lose what you never had.
