Look inside on how it would be.
Justice brought to a man,
Cold steel in his hand.
Rope intertwined with flesh,
Gasping for one more breath.

Lost to how he was raised,
From noone has he recieved praise.
Beaten as far as he remembered,
Alone as the last burning ember.

Reasons he seems to desire,
Excuses like a burning fire.
Fault he will not accept,
A liar he is inept.

Wrought with guilt but shows no shame,
Someone else must be to blame.
For his victims vengance won,
From his daughter and his son.

His life he claims was not his fault,
What would he have said if never caught.
Lives destroyed cannot be reclaimed,
So many now can not be named.

For this the only true reward,
The life he gives the life of a coward.
None he faced man to man,
None defeated hand to hand.

Forgivness now he asks of me,
Something I cannot give for free.
Shame I feel as he passes on,
Shame I feel for my son.
