A poem based off of a saying by Teddy Roosevelt
Caste in grey stone
Carved and crafted by the mason's hand
Shining beauty of man.

Shrouded and enclosed
Spectral clouds adorn and magnify your columns of splendor
Though to unseeing eyes of Man.

Will your chiseled countenance of grey
Evaporate with Sun's coming?

Teasing shifting shadows
That lurk within your halls of marble
Dare you to venture into Life?

Into sheer, flowing, liquid Light
(pouring in and through as trickling water)
Draped with gossamer
And created by child.
