about a mothers love for her child
My Child

His love is unconditional,
its endless and sometimes so emotional.

He comes to me ten times a day to hug me and whisper "I love you mom" into my ear.
Sometimes his pure existance fills me with fear.

I hear tires squeeking down the street, running with just flip-flops on my feet.

I can feel my heartbeat in my whole entire body, please lord, please don't let my child be bloody.

Snow, rain, a tornado could have hit or something much more extreem, in those seconds I was flying down the road I couldn't thinmk of anything else but my child it seemed.

This bond, this love is so deep nothing can ever take that away, it's a feeling that I will always keep.

Only a mom can know how I started shaking once I got there and realized my child was fine, it was our friends dog that got hit and my boy was standing there crying.
