For the ABCeDarius contest
Alabaster sky: pregnant
Bellyful of clouds where
Crimson seagulls stitch--
Darning yesterday and tomorrow.
Echoing across the years
Faint chorus mouths platitudes
Giving voice to the silence;
Holding but wisps of nothing
In nimbus fingers.
Jasmine scented
Kenaf flowers across the senses
Lightly etching lost
Memories lest they fade lost in
Nautilus swirls
Of
Pearlized lies.
Quietly now, come forth and
Revel under the chin of night;
Seek that scene
Thus far unnoticed by blathering hordes
Uninterested, or, perhaps too focused to
View else but
Where worn feet tread never aware that
Xanadu is but a breath away.
Youth-lost wisdom wafts on
Zephyr winds rising to an alabaster sky.
