This is a fun poem, based on writing poetry.
To Write A Poem

Sit down lonely, by the fire
seek the depths, of your desire.
Pluck a pen, from the shelf.
Your alone, and by yourself.

Note not the passing, of the hour.
Think instead, of nature’s flower
Then feel wind, take your mind
To hunt for treasures, of the blind.

Let your soul, soar and roar,
through untamed jungle, and river falls,
You have the keys, to a hidden door,
The secret pass, to kingly halls.

Then think again, of how it sounds,
like a song a wolf might howl,
or a sprinkle-tinkle-tinkle of a bell,
or the booming, hollow sounds
of a drum, and how it pounds, pounds, pounds.

Listen well, with all your heart!
To the words, and your art.
Then feel the magic, on a whim,
wondrous words, begin again.

And now your done, and vastly spent
like too much money, on the rent.
And like the blue, of shining skies,
Poetry, never dies!!!
