Everything is everything.
They're like tinsel tears,
carved and cut and perfectly placed
on her face. I'm in there-
I see me staring back
inside my eyes inside her tears-
and I am infinitely small and smaller
a thousand times a thousand times
and that's how everything is.
We're all enveloped and intertwined
with what we see and seek and breathe,
dancing like lovers amid infinitismal others
so that every elbow touches.
It is seen, then, that every ripple brings another
and there is sequence and cause and effect
and we are in it, deep in everything,
acting and reacting and reflecting
ourselves off the workings of this world.
