A poem of war, externally, internally, politically, and theologically
isn’t it funny how the stars fall
Unforgiving, taking you to your grave
isn’t it funny how you walk whilst we crawl
Is it this, is it the blood you crave

Is it the clouds that blacken
A sacrificial cry
Is it thee that holds the keys to heaven
The keys to a lie

Welcome to thy world
Thy Armageddon
See the flag unfurled
As the tides, they redden

People they drop like flies
Dying for a tyrant
A country built on lies
So intolerant

Forgive him not
For I hold the keys
The keys not to freedom
Only a release

Look up at me
As I admire
Bring you your wings
Your sweet savior

On a chariot much higher
I rescue
Your silent liar
I’ll look for you
When the world’s on fire

Weep not……………
