Thoughts that occurred late one night after the rain in my hometown of Miami.
i walked in the grove barefoot
at night
under the lights
in the rain
reflections in the swirls of orange streetlights
bright translucent waves in the sky
the night sky

it's what i'm thinking
pull me away
put me in the glass elevator
i know they love me
i know they're there
just not now
i feel but no one hears it
my secret
secret smiles
