A story of a powerful object.
Chapter 1-Denial

On an island, within the Chass Ocean a gull called out. There was a deep silence other than the waves occasionally crashing onto a sandy shore. Suddenly a loud scream pierced the quiet air. A man ran and dissapeared into a grass hut. Another scream rang out of the hut. A soothing voice whispered to the person. A baby was born.

Two years later the same boy ran across the shore, running from 3 boys who were taunting,"Cripple! Cripple! The cripple with no elbow! Ya stinkin crip-" The two-year old stopped and kneeled down as if he were hurt. But instead, he raised his left arm, leveled it with the leader of the gang, and chopped across the his face. The poor guy went down to the kid without a chance to scream. The kid fled without another word. As he walked along, he stumbled upon a object in the white sand. The boy dropped to the ground in disbelief. There, covered by a thin layer of sand, was a compass. It was blacker than the black gull, and had a single, red needle. The compass also had a gold chain. Yet, most mysterious of thing of all was the blue writing around the sides.
As the boy dusted the sand off he ran towards the town center. When he got to the center he talked to the council leader. "Sir," started," I found this compass on the Shore of the West. I was-"
"Whoa," he interrupted, "you're very young to be playing on the beach. Ah! well a compass that points south isn't much use. Leave cripple."

Chapter 2-Raiders

Seven years later. "Next up, the biggest rivalry in exsistence of Neishan Island. Age 13-Meno against nine-year old Kel (our boy). Begin!" Kel squared off to Meno, His crippled left arm floating at his side. A yell came from Meno as he charged across the arena. Kel was spinnig his left arm so fast you couldn't see it. Meno threw a kick to his chest, with the result of falling back and clutching his foot in pain. Kel sped forward throwing kick after kick and destroying his rival. Suddenly, a whistle blew. "Kel is the win-" An alarm sounded. "Raiders," People screamed in terror and fled to their houses. Kel ran out of the arena looked across the sandy beach. There, without a doubt were raiders. A yell resounded and the raiders charged at him. Kel was calm even though he knew he stood no chance. He checked for the chain around his neck and ran. Kel shot across the beach and into the town. Weaving in and out of streets, he thought about what a mess he was in. Finally, he turned a corner and ran into a burky raider who scooped him up with huge hands. He shouted something into the air and took Kel to a massive boat. He was thrown in a cell and chained to a cold, stone wall. Over on the other side of the cell was a boy. "Hi," Kel called, "who are you?"
"Me? I'm Jeron from an island town called Chassing. I'm nine and I was captured two days ago. Who might you be?" He said this very glumly like it was the end of the world. But Kel replied,"I'm Kel from the island town of Chueka. I'm also nine. Do you know where we're going?"
"Yep," was the reply,"I overheard the raiders say one more stop and then we're going to be sold as slaves to Yokto, the island king. Anyway, it's pretty late i'm going to sleep." So, Kel slept and he dreamt
