I originally wrote this on the basis of describing a sunset to the visually impaired.
Sunset

A clear blue sky slowly darkens as the bright yellow sphere of sun descends languorously towards an expansive sea skyline. As darkness gains supremacy, the stars gradually become manifest, with the moon emerging as dominant satellite while the sun fades from yellow to orange, and eventually to a blood red glow. It ultimately touches the watery horizon, as if bleeding its shimmering red sap into the ocean brine, dissolving without trace as day becomes night. Now blackness presides, with the stars sparkling like tiny beads of light, and the bulbous moon suspending effortlessly in all its brilliant fullness.
