A writing about the pain of loosing the love of a woman
Agony

Unvoiced screams well up inside

as I futilely search for a place to hide

Tears stream down my cheeks

and my heart feels as though my lifeblood leaks

you clutch the proverbial knife in your hand

and a telling blow you did land

the blade of you leaving slipped between my ribs

and now my heart dies, though my body still lives

My love drips between your fingers, and down your arm

as you try to tell me you meant no harm

you tell me not to worry, this is for the best

As you plunge another dagger into my chest

With my love's last breath I wonder how much you'll cry

When you realize that you are the reason my heart has died.....
