it is a poem that I wrote is a song type
Love songs always on the radio.
Your love weighing down my heart
To help me feel what I can't ever see.
I don't want you to be my burden
But this is the way it always starts.

Don't depend on me to be your song
When it comes to time to sing for the crowd.
I can be the stage you stand on,
But be careful because I have trap doors.

I will not tell you when to stop singing.
That is something you will have to determine.

Love songs always on the radio.
Your love weighing down my heart
To help me feel what I can't ever see.
I don't want you to be my burden
But this is the way it always starts.

Backstage I won't be another of your fans.
I won't be the woman behind this camera
Telling you you look more beautiful every day.
I will be the bodyguard protecting you.

When the crowd gets too large to handle
Let me be the force to make it small again.

Love songs always on the radio.
Your love weighting down my heart
To help me feel what I can't ever see.
I don't want you to be my burden
But this is the way it always starts.
