This a piece of cousresework i had to do for my GCSEs, this is only my rough draft of it.
The End of Innocence

The lone car galloped down the freeway with the smoke of a cigarette running along the side which could be traced back to its owners black gloves. His emotionless eyes looked to the passenger’s seat; a cold smile grew across his face as his eyes met the weapon – his friend

The clouds coiled as the rain began.

Four wheels squeaked as the beast sped around the last corner. The road lights flickered into the car. The sky was sore with thunder. The shadows of the windscreen wipers played over his face.

Almost there.
*
Smiling with joy the victim and her child strolled along the desolate sidewalk. They were happy even when the rain hit them. Dancing around, smiling, and laughing. Life was perfect.
*
Creeping in the shadows the cars drivers black eyes bore into the victim. The window rolled down. He aimed, he fired. Hers eyes darted down to her daughters, tears formed. The gun recoiled, the wind wailed and the child’s scream, rang in his ears – scream, scream, scream…as the mother fell down dead – dead, dead, dead.

There were no stars out that night, for it was the end of innocence.
