Finding love, across the miles. This is an oler poem of mine.
And Then There Was You:

Reaching into what may seem to be empty space
But knowing its not because you are there

And I can feel you in my thoughts, in my dreams
In my very existence. The very core of my being.

I can reach out my hand, and feel the hint of your touch.
Hundreds of miles separate us, yet I feel your presence everywhere.

The nights, they are the hardest. For once we say good night.
A longing for you , an ache that can’t be filled. Sighing.

I never knew nights could be so long.
Never knew loneliness could be so alone.
Never knew love could be so strong.
Never knew my hearts song.

And then there was you.

Love across the miles and yet ever so near.
Our hearts united, our souls freely dance
But arms remain empty, eyes fill with tears.
Yet I have no choice but to give love a chance.

Bittersweet it may be
But worth it to me.

For you are:
My strength
My smile
My laugh
My tears
My joy
My passion
My will

I love you still
I always will.
