The Demon under the stairs. Is the Demon real or just a metaphor for real life situation?
There is a Demon under my house,
but nobody can see him but me.
My family is filled with nothing but doubt,
because nobody can see him but me.
Under our feet beneath the concrete,
and nobody can see him but me.
It lives under the basement floor
and visits in the morning between 3 and 4,
but nobody can see him but me.
He acts like a friend but turns in the end,
and nobody can see him but me.
He is aware of my stare and tells me to beware of the stairs,
nobody can see him but me.
I went down to its home all alone,
because nobody can see him but me.
He traps me in his home to turn me into one of his own,
nobody can see him but me.
It's angry with me because I don't wish to concede,
and nobody can see him but me.
I break free and escape quickly,
and nobody can see him but me.
I lure him up stairs so my family can believe,
early in the morn, bleeding with torn sleave,
but nobody can see him but me.
My blood spill should be proof that it's real,
but nobody can see him but me.
Look through the glass to my family I plea,
they think I'm crazy, all they can see is me.....
