A love poem
Time was my friend at one point
It made me steadily fall for you
I remember when you wrote to me
"Not a chance in time"
Less became more in every minute
And made you a necessity in my life
Now we are months away and
With every tick and every tock
It seems that time reverses
It makes me ask questions such as
Do I love you even though were apart?
Of course I do, with all my heart
I knew that from the very start
When my affection gradually increased
Like a spreading amorous disease
I love your smile, your voice, your scent
I love your kiss, your touch, your sex
I love your walk, your calls, your respect
I love your thoughts, your laugh everything
And when I figure that I cant love you more
With each passing second, another record breaks
And I miss you more with every new breath I take
Time separates us like weather separates the seasons
Only time can bring us back together, I know
But as you can see
Time has become my greatest foe
