Hurt

This isn’t right, it can’t be true

I thought as your words jabbed me through

Was this enough? Is this my proof?

Or was I wrong when I pursued

And then came something very new

A pain I thought I’d never know

As through your lips they came again

“I’m sorry but I don’t love you.”
