A poem about pain and the hope of love overcoming it.
tears flow like raindrops
into a river of loneliness
so deep the hurt
of knowing I am the cause
of your pain
let my tears heal your heart wounds
wash away all trace
of the wrongs I have made
begin anew in radiant sunlight
drops of prismatic dew
the rainbow of our love
still shines through
