The night that I almost believed in love.
Once, in a night
filled with dreams
hopes and life
for but a few hours
I was happy.

Bittersweet
utter
euphoria.

A phantom, apparition
inside me body, soul
seeking my secrets
I hid no more.

Pause of time
no one in the world
but just us two.
I talked to an angel
of this I know true.

We talked, laughed, cried
about everything
and nothing at all.

He is exquisite
a beautiful picture
burned in my mind.

Caught a glimpse of
dreams unwanted
but ached to own.

He sang sweet
sang dirty
sang raw.

Lyrics
of love
if given the chance
he would take back.

Spoke out of spirits
cans of beer
later a shot glass.

Here I sit
listening to his
hero's, alone
as he touches
kisses
holds
his material love.
