A follow on to 'Falling'.
The plane has landed he’s on his way,
Through arrivals he will come,
This weekend he has come to play,
I hope we have some fun.

We meet at last face to face,
He walks down through the gate,
In this most innocuous place,
Stole away my heart he takes.

At our table we sit and wait,
Our hands are intertwined,
Our dinner takes so long to make,
To all else we are blind.

In the car and on our way,
Our first kiss we did share,
I did not know what to say,
The sweetness too much to bear.

In the dark of the movies,
We sit together as lovers,
A movie about sex and brutality,
Our liking we discover.

Home at last we go together,
The stars are shining bright,
Almost lucky like white heather,
We’ll be staying together tonight.

The morning dawns bright and clear,
My lover by my side,
A face I come to hold so dear,
His leaving I cannot abide.

His plane is leaving he’s on his way,
Through departures he must go,
Sometime soon he will come to play,
I love him from head to toe.
