An ex boyfriend told me once that his new girls Love was Poison. So i wrote This Poem.
“Poison”

He stood solitaire
Even in the company of the
One he called his love
He stood alone
Poison is what he called her
Every breath he took was
Filled with that poisonous love
It is in the shadows of that love
He calls for help
He knows Not how to
Rid himself of that poison
He only knows
He must or surely, he will die
He cries in silents
His heart grows weary
The feeling of confusion grows stronger
His eyes fill with poisonous blood
As he searches blindly
For anything to hold on too
Won’t anyone help him?
In his hour of need
He calls out
Please is there anyone there
He feels no answer
Deliriously he returns to her
Knowing in his heart he will surly die
But compelled to return by a force unknown
An evil enchantment he dose not understand
Draws him nearer
The girl smiles her poisonous smile
With the knowing of his doing
Sure within herself that
No one hears his cries
But she hears...
