This is my feelings of disturbing things that haunt my dreams.
Why is it that darkness scares me so?
When I sleep, all of the doors must be closed.
When someone touches my wrists I panic,
As if they had been cut before
Memories jumbled, feelings that have no source,
Trying to find truth when no proof exists.
Feeling as if I am in danger.
I am the prey to an unknown hunter.

Why do I fear this creature of the night?
This man who has no face.
Haunting me, stalking me in my dreams,
Until the morning light I wake.
I hear my screams and hear his laugh,
cold and cruel, piercing like a knife.
He is the enemy of my dreams,
In this midnight strife.
