a poem about a person whom I believe has an angelic aura
I looked all my life,
for an angel to share with,
I found that most were tarnished,
and caused nothing but strife.

I looked high and low,
near and far,
but alas, to no avail,
I must be to slow.

Then as luck would have it,
with a flash of brown hair,
and a twinkle in your big brown eyes,
in shock I had to sit.

for the one I looked for,
was here and gone,
I was not to slow,
it was time that was no more.

I prayed to God for a chance,
hoping to see her again,
the answer to earlier prayers,
I am afraid we will never dance.

the answer is long in coming,
I shall know in a year,
if the one I have found,
will be the one to end my longing.

I have never been patient,
at least in my search,
I feel I must be this time,
or else I must lament.

This angelic being,
has opened me up,
shattered my cold lifeless shell,
and made me capable of seeing.

My only wish is a simple one,
to have the time to enjoy,
the luxury of happiness,
That I have never felt, alone.
