I wrote this for my friends in America
You may not be beside me,

To hold me when I'm scared.

But I know that your thoughts are with me

And strength from this I take.



You may not be beside me,

To share in all my joy.

But I know you're there, just for me

And from this, my joy,it grows.



You may not be beside me,

Through the highs and through the lows.

But you are my friend and always will be,

And for this I love you more.
