When life plays the flats on your keyboard.
I'm tired of harmonies

I'm sick of hearing words that rhyme

So life strike me a dissonance

Scribe verses unbefitting the structure of my heart

Two keys played together are beautiful

Even if they're side by side

Denial

Always denial

Don't play the keys

Dissonance is sad

Don't play the keys

You won't like what you hear

Play black more and more

More flats

More flats

More flats

Always less

Remove

Give me more. Please.

Please.

No?

Then play me a dissonance.

Don't give me a melody

Play harmony without the string to pull the rest.

Through dissonance my heart's music

grows.

stronger.

Harmonic afterthoughts seem unnoteable.

Notes and notes and notes.

Words. Words. Words.

Only words.

Never chords.

Never harmony.

Only the black keys.

Quixotic.

What a perfect word.
