A poem/song I wrote for my band. Its about leaving in sadness, but leaving hope behind.
Shimmered Hearts In The Morning Sun

Screaming of guns, violence and pain, that will last.
Singing the dirge, this eulogy of my dying past.
I've cut out this picture, with blood as the proof.
I've climbed up her ladder, and jumped off her roof.
No matter what lecture,I drag you into.
It always ends up,with a "hell no!" or "Fuck you!"

So I let my heart make sighs, started thinking of my greatest fear.
Tabby you have such beautiful eyes. But you need to show the world they tear.

I put the blood into the quill, started making all the lists.
Holley you have such good will, but you need to raise your fists.

Dear little sisters,can't you see?
I'm not coming back, home is nowhere for me.
I've rendered all thought, but still we've had fun.
Becoming shimmered hearts in this morning sun.

So now the wind it carries loneliness,
because summer has forever changed.
We will not meet again until autumn says"you have aged".
