A poem I wrote about personal principle and honor
What’s my name? In false lights I’ve forgotten.
Who’s this doppelganger I see lying
in the yellow face’s surface, wrought’n
with lusting, emerald mirrors crying

with desire for hollow, throbbing applause-
how he struts, smiles, speaks- false puppet staged for
Princeship of Florence- Ambition’s veiled cause:
Judas! I see his choice at the cross’d door:

O’ Principal and Nobility they are
Eliminated under deceptive
Green and bloody lights. Welcoming new scars,
the Price ushers out the life. He dives. Dive!

Faust smiles- for I’ve sold my soul just the same,
But it’s not too late, to resurrect my name
