the ups and downs of a relationship
We are past the point
Of overindulgance
Yet I still want more

You suck all the love
From my weakened heart
And once it stops beating
You blow it back up
It still works the same
And I still play your game

It's all chutes and ladders
You climb
I slide
It's all darkness behind closed doors
I seek
You hide

I missed the last train
You stuck around for the ride
I still love the same
You still love the same
