Just a little something.
I went to a Garden Centre once,
When I was 6 I think
And there was a parrot there
Just like me.
His name was Roland.
I visited him every time I went there,
With my Nan,
My aunt
And my mum.
But then,
Just recently,
I went to see him, and…
He was gone!
All that’s left is his perch,
Where he used to sit.
I will never forget Roland,
The parrot just like me.
