This is a ballad that depicts the doomed love of Joseph and his girlfriend Jill
The Doomed Love

Joseph was in love with Miss Jill
They had a love that bloomed
But their love was destined to fail
From the start it was doomed

From the start it was doomed
From the start it was doomed

It began with their only child
Born on Christ’s holiday
So his father could not deny
The price that he would pay

Price that he would pay
Price that he would pay

After the child came to our world
Joseph had to decide
On the plan he would carry out
One which he could not hide

One he could not hide
One he could not hide

At the time he was an actor
He was a rising star
But his child would end his career
His kid would douse his star

His kid would douse his star
His kid would douse his star

He would pace and think, pace and think
Scared for what he would do
Because his decision would show
What he had chose to do

What he chose to do
What he chose to do

“Please don’t do it I beg of you,
Please it is not that bad”
Cried out Jill protecting her son
The poor unknowing lad

The poor unknowing lad
The poor unknowing lad

Jill did not hinder his resolve
She only made it worse
The baby was first, next was Jill
They both left in a hurse

Both left in a hurse
Both left in a hurse

There was an actor named Joseph
His love with Jill was doomed
Jill and her son were sacrificed
From the start they were doomed.

From the start they were doomed
From the start they were doomed
